Used to describe something that is unpleasant or of poor quality, similar to 'bad' or 'ugly' in English.

Ese corte de cabello te quedó bien gacho.

That haircut looks really bad on you.

Ese pedo está si está gacho.

That situation really is bad.

¡Qué gacho está el clima hoy!

The weather is so bad today!
