Mexican slang for cheap or low quality
Used to describe something that is of poor quality, similar to 'cheap' or 'shoddy' in English.
Esa camisa estába muy chafa, se rompió cuando la estrene.
That shirt is really cheap, it broke on the first use.
No compres en esa tienda, todo es chafa.
Don't buy at that store, everything is of low quality.
Ese teléfono chafa no duró ni un año.
That cheap phone didn't last even a year.
